Lang Station marks the spot of the Golden spike that united SP's California north and south route from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Located along the south bank of the Santa Clara River, the two story train order depot served the line until it was removed in 1971. The tracks follow the dry riverbed east (Timetable North) into the mountains through Soledad Canyon.
